Seeing Santa, Listening To Jazz, And Playing In Live Art!

I went with grandma to 7th and Fig to see Santa on Saturday. Santa asked me what I wanted for Christmas, and I told him I wanted a bike. Santa said he would have his elves work on it for me. High five to Santa!

Then Grandma and I ate some lunch and watched a jazz band play jazz Christmas songs. The lead singer asked me some questions in between one of her songs. I guess she knew I liked jazz music by the way I bopped my head and snapped my fingers (like my grandma has taught me).

When we were ready to leave, grandma and I discovered this art place, showing the work of Cheryl Walker. She had some nice pieces of art on the wall, but I had more fun running through the streamers of colored panels of plastic sheets.

Making Tattoos

This is me using that removable ink tattoo gun my grandma bought for me at the tattoo convention. I made two tattoos, one on each arm. The play tattoo gun moves and sounds like a real one.

Picnic At The Grove

Grandma and I had a picnic on Sunday at the Grove. We brought food from Johnny Rockets (I had a grilled cheese sandwich and a vanilla shake, and grandma had a burger), and laid out my Sponge Bob blanket. Grandma lets me play with the water and there are a lot of other kids there for me to play with.

Mickey D's

Grandma and I go to Mickey D's on Vermont after my art class at Barnsdall Park every Saturday and have lunch. My mom won't let me eat the chicken McNuggets, so I end up with a burger and apple slices. I have lots of fun playing with the other kids!

I Got A Tattoo Today!

My grandma and I went to the Tattoo Convention here in Los Angeles today. We stopped off at Victor de Los Angeles' booth, and he gave me a free tattoo! It is sooooooo neat!

Happy Birthday To Me!

Today is my birthday. I turned six. My grandma took me to Barnsdall Park and this is the view from the top of the hill. Ok, so her video camera is not that great, plus, it was a hazy day. Too bad the picture doesn't clearly show the Hollywood sign nor the Griffith Park Observatory. Grandma promises she'll take me there soon.

We went to a park afterward. I met some kids and had a great time.

Tomorrow I have a big birthday party at my mom's house, with lots of people coming. I am so excited. I hope I get a lot of presents!
